Are you interested in learning to ride a horse or improving your
current riding skills? We'd love to help! Weekday horseback riding
lessons are offered to Junior to Ambassador Girl Scouts of all riding
abilities, whether you are a seasoned rider, have only ridden with
your troop a time or two, or are a complete beginner. Lessons will be
led by our experienced barn staff at Misty Meadows Ranch. Focus on
your personal riding goals, with options in both English and Western
riding. Lessons will be an hour-long including check-in and
preparation. The purchase of the single lesson event includes 1 hour
long lesson.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Participants must schedule lesson date and time with Sarah
Triplett after purchasing lessons. When scheduling a lesson please
attach your receipt of purchase. If you have questions about available
lesson days and times contact Sarah before making your purchase.
Participants should wear long pants, and boots with a 1"
heel. GSSJC has boots and helmets for girls to borrow.

Drop-off and Supervision: This is NOT a drop-off
event; Girl Scout ratio of adults are required to attend but do not
need to register.
Adult Requirements: Parents must remain on camp
property and may remain inside of the barn.
Tagalongs: Tagalongs are allowed and do not need to
register. Tagalongs will not actively participate in the event.

the event start date to confirm activity details and ensure nothing

CANCELLATION POLICY:
24 hour advance notice of cancellation of your lesson is
required. You will be unable to reschedule your lesson if you do not
give 24 hours advance notice of cancellation.
Severe weather may result in the cancellation of your lesson.
Your lesson instructor will be in contact with you if there is a
possibility of severe weather and will make the final decision on
whether or not to cancel your lesson. Lessons cancelled by your lesson
instructor due to severe weather will be rescheduled. If you cancel
your lesson with less than 24 hour notice due to weather your lesson
will not be rescheduled. If you are only able to complete a partial
lesson (less than 30 minutes) due to severe weather your lesson will
be rescheduled.
