Camp Casa Mare on Galveston Bay is a tropical paradise for ocean lovers and landlubbers alike. The warm, salty breezes, the call of the gulls and the sight of sailboats gliding across the day provide the perfect setting for seaside fun. Special interest sessions include sailing and water sports, while fencing, drama and land sports round out the camp offerings, in addition to traditional camp activities. Campers will stay dormitories of 9-32 girls each.

To register for a session this week at Camp Camp Casa Mare, click Register Now. Choose the camper (or campers) you would like to register for this week of camp and then click Continue. You will be able to choose a session, t-shirt, trading post allowance and optional camp pack for each registrant. To view detailed descriptions of each session, check out the Resident Camp web site.

As part of the resident camp experience, each camper has the opportunity to visit the camp Trading Post to find the perfect item to remember her experience. Pre-paid Trading Post allowances allow check-out from camp to go quickly and smoothly! Be sure to choose your camper's Trading Post allowance during the registration process. The Trading Post is a camp souvenir shop and each camper will only visit the Trading Post once. A typical Trading Post allowance is $15 or $20. Unused Trading Post funds will be returned in the form of a Camp Buck that can be used at any GSSJC Girl Scout Shop.
Every camper gets a free t-shirt and patch when they attend resident camp, and we need to know what size t-shirts to have available. Campers receive their t-shirt on the last day of their session.
The $50 deposit is required for all registrations and is non-refundable and non-transferable. All registrations made less than four weeks before the session’s start date must be paid in full. Session changes made for non-medical reasons will be accommodated based on availability. Please note that since the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, a new $50 deposit will be due for the new session. Note: When registering online, the session itself will have a $40 deposit and the t-shirt will cost $10, for a total of the $50 deposit.

Waitlists: If your camper’s first choice session is grayed out, that means the session is full. If your camper would like to be added to the waitlist for the session, please register for her second choice session in the same week at any camp. Then contact us by email at or phone at 713-292-0370 to request that your daughter be added to the waitlist for her first choice. Please note, moving a camper from a waitlist into an active seat is dependent upon many factors and is not a guarantee. Your camper can be removed from the waitlist at any time. Registration for your camper’s second choice session is subject to the same refund and cancellation policies as all other resident camp sessions.
