Sloop Crew
Mariners who have completed the prerequisites and service hours may register to learn how to crew one of our small camp sloops. We have three 420’s and two Capri 14.2 sloops. This course will teach the basics of rigging and derigging the sloops, how to properly use a jib sail, the use of various lines on the boat, proper maintenance and care of the sloops and the crew responsibilities.

Overnight accommodation for participants is dependent on the availability of adult volunteers. 4-8 adult dorm chaperones are required. Please contact sailing.coordinator@gmail.com for more information.
