Spring Council Meeting

The Annual Meeting of Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council will be held at Camp Agnes Arnold on Saturday, April 12, 2008, beginning at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 11:30 a.m. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the entry to the lodge. Please note that only those delegates seated at 9:30 a.m. will be eligible to vote.

The main business of the meeting will be the election of officers, board members-at-large, Nominating Committee members, and national council delegates. We will also be voting on changes to the bylaws, and there will be an update on the Council’s new strategic plan.

The program focus of the meeting will be relational aggression, which is bullying behavior intended to harm meaningful relationships. Our guest speaker will explain how relational aggression affects today’s girls and why Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council needs to address this growing issue.
