Get Their "Just Desserts" At Popular Girl Scout Cookie

(FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Houston, January 6, 2003) In celebration of the organization's 54th Annual Girl Scout Cookie Sale, Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council (GSSJC) will host some of Houston's premier chefs, in collaboration with the Warwick Hotel, 5701 Main, on February 6 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Just Desserts, an evening featuring delectable and decadent desserts made with Girl Scout cookies. Event admission is $50.00 and each guest will receive a package of each of the eight varieties of Girl Scout cookies.
Some of the participating restaurants, hotels and eateries include The Four Seasons Hotel, Hotel Derek, Post Oak Grille, Bennie Ferrell Catering and Melange Catering.
"We are so excited to be welcoming some of Houston's top culinary professionals to Just Desserts," says Event Chair Donna Lanier. "If you thought Girl Scout Cookies were good, wait until you taste these sensational creations…we just can't wait for everyone at the event to get their Just Desserts," she adds.
