Register Now For a Fun-filled Summer Day or Twilight Camp!

Whether it's canoeing and crafts or swimming and archery, there's something for every girl ages 6 to 17 at an exciting day or twilight camp this spring and summer. Day camp girls will participate in a variety of activities during the day and return home in the afternoon or evening. Twilight camp girls will have an evening experience Monday through Friday, usually from 6-9 p.m. Many campers enjoy both.

Each camp, whether day or twilight, will offer a wide variety of activities for girls to enjoy together. Typical offerings include practicing outdoor skills (fire building, cooking, or knot tying), making arts and crafts, singing songs, playing games, as well as stargazing, dancing, hiking, and playing sports.

Day and twilight camps are offered in more than 30 locations. Interested parties can visit for a complete listing of camps, including times and deadlines for registration.

"At camp, girls not only have fun and make new friends, but they also learn leadership skills and how to work together as a team,” says Jana Hale, day camp program manager.

"My daughter Bryanna loves day camp for many reasons. One reason is the time she spends away from Mommy with new friends and new leaders," says Myrna F. "Another reason is all of the outside activities we cannot do in a meeting. Fishing, canoeing and making ice cream can't be beat! These are memories that she will carry with her and pass on to her own daughter."

Day and twilight camps are staffed by Girl Scout volunteers. Girls do not have to be registered as a Girl Scout prior to registration. Non-members are welcome and encouraged to register.
