Canoeing on Lake at Camp ArnoldShadow Lake is the main attraction at Camp Agnes Arnold. The lake offers 35 acres of cool, refreshing fun for campers. Girls may enjoy canoeing, nature study, and fishing on Shadow Lake.

The legends of the Magic Elf and Hipper entertain and delight the imaginations of all campers. In addition to the focus of the session, campers also participate in traditional camp activities such as swimming, making crafts, going on hikes, cooking outdoors, playing games, and making new friends.

Girls will stay in tents, yurts, tree houses, or cabin units of 24-36 girls each. With a view of the lake, girls eat most of their meals in the air-conditioned Ann Temple Allen Lodge. Near the lodge, the climate-controlled craft rooms, library/memorabilia room, and new Nature Center also offer an escape from the summer heat.

Camp Casa Mare

Sailing at Camp Casa MareCamp Casa Mare on Galveston Bay is a tropical paradise for ocean lovers and landlubbers alike. The warm, salty breezes, the call of gulls, and the sight of sailboats gliding across the bay provide the perfect setting for seaside fun.

Special interest sessions focus on water sports such as sailing, water skiing, or skin diving. A fleet of Sunfish sailboats and sloops provides a challenging experience for those who wish to gain expertise or just enjoy recreational sailing. Activities for the landlubbers include sports, cheerleading, drama, and archery.

In addition to the focus of the session, campers participate in traditional camp activities such as swimming, crafts, games, and making new friends. Girls staying at Camp Casa Mare live in dormitories. Campers gather in the air-conditioned galley/lodge for meals and all-camp assemblies. The galley also houses craft/activity rooms and a display from the camp’s rich history.
