Celebrate the “Magic of Girl Scouting” at Urban Campout 2010

You are invited to experience the “Magic of Girl Scouting” at
Urban Campout 2010, as we turn the proceeds from this annual fundraiser
for the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council (GSSJC) into community programs
that help develop girls as leaders.
Susan Bischoff will be honored for her key contributions to advancing the mission of Girl Scouts. She has enabled us to transform the lives of more than 22,000 underserved girls in low-to-moderate income neighborhoods over the past year, with help from 17,000 committed GSSJC volunteers.
The mystical evening begins at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2010 at the George R. Brown Convention Center, where The Fried Ice Cream band will cast a musical spell over the audience and magician Richard Hatch will put us all in a trance as we see the world of Girl Scouting in a new light.
This year, we’ve done a changing act and we ask that you come dressed to impress in your favorite cocktail attire. Be ready to bid on fabulous auction items that are sure to disappear in the blink of an eye. Urban Campout 2010 will be an event like no other and you don’t want to miss it!
