Bling Your Booth 2023

Are you ready for a Cookie Booth challenge? From Feb. 17-March 26, host and “bling” your cookie booth for a chance to win a weekend for your troop at the Galveston Bay House on Aug. 4-6!

How it works:

Here’s how it works:

Hold a cookie booth anytime between Feb. 17- March 26
Decorate your cookie booth emphasizing the 5 Skills, your troop goal, and what you plan to do with your proceeds
Submit your photo to gssjc.org/blingyourbooth. One entry per troop. All activities featured must abide by Safety Activity Checkpoints and all other guidelines to qualify. Deadline to submit entries is March 31.
Be sure to have the correct number of girls/adults at the booth.
Council staff will vote on their top 5 picks on April 1. The top 5 booths will then be posted on the GSSJC Facebook Page for voting by the general public. The booth with the most votes will win a weekend (August 4-6) at the Gavleston Bay House!

One entry per troop. All activities featured must abide by Safety Activity Checkpoints and all other safety guidelines to qualify. Deadline to submit entries is March 31 at 11:59 p.m. CST.

10 troops with photos including all the required elements will be selected at random to receive a Bling Your Booth patch for every member of their troop
ONE troop will win a weekend at the Galveston Bay House on August 4-6!

All photos will be considered for inclusion in upcoming council publications and marketing materials.

Winning troops will be notified via email no later than Friday, April 15, 2023. Due to the number of entries received annually, only winning troops will be notified.

How to Bling Your Booth:

Required

These items are REQUIRED to qualify for Bling Your Booth prizes:

Display your troop’s sales goal
Show what the troop will do with the proceeds earned
Display the 5 Skills girls learn in the Cookie Program (goal setting, decision making, money management, business ethics and people skills)

Please make sure your photo submission clearly shows all the required items.

Ideas

Creatively display products, such as how cookies are displayed or nutritional information
Display the Girl Scout logo or name prominently
Use some of the graphics provided by ABC Bakers
