Welcome to the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council Volunteer Basics series!
These videos are available for all adults and volunteers to access and use. More videos will become available as topics are developed.
To be appointed to the Troop Leader role, a volunteer must select the Troop Leader role, be a registered member of Girl Scouts of the USA, complete the volunteer screening process for Girl Scouts of San Jacinto and view the following three videos and complete and submit the knowledge check that follows the videos:
- Safety Basics
- Troop/Group Basics
- Financial Basics
Below the videos are key forms and documents that will further explain key topics and help you in your role.
After viewing the videos, please complete the Knowledge Check to receive credit for completion. Submission of the answers to the Knowledge Check is one of the requirements to be appointed as a Troop Leader.
