We hope you and your family are safe following Tropical Storm Imelda.
All our affected families are in our thoughts. As we begin the
recovery process across the council, we know we will see our members
reaching out to their sister Girl Scouts and members of their
community who were affected. We are always proud to see you be Girl
Scout strong. Should your family need support from GSSJC as you
recover, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Camp and Building Openings
If your troop is scheduled to camp this weekend, camps are open and ready for campers. In addition, all GSSJC resource centers and shops, including the Girl Scout Center in Houston, will resume normal business hours on Saturday, Sept. 21.
As we move into the weekend, we want to ensure girls and volunteers are able to attend their planned activities. All weekend activities will take place as planned, with only a few exceptions that will be communicated directly to those affected. You should receive a positive confirmation that your activity will be held.
