Why Give
Girl Scouts has fueled the female leadership pipeline for more than a
century. With support from our community we have inspired girls – the
leaders of tomorrow - and created meaningful experiences for
volunteers. Our girls and volunteers use their strengths to make an
impact on the world around them. Each comes from a different
background and possesses different skills, but they are all determined
to lead and are better equipped thanks to Girl Scouting.
With our focus on the great outdoors, entrepreneurship, life skills and STEM, Girl Scouts provides a safe space for girls to find their voice, overcome their fears, try new things and have fun!
We invite you to be a part of our collective commitment to provide girls with extraordinary experiences that help them succeed at home, at school and in our community. Your support allows us to continue to serve girls who need us most through our Community Outreach program and to provide financial assistance so that the cost of membership or a vest never stands in the way of a girl pursuing her dreams or achieving her full potential as a Girl Scout.
Your donation helps ensure that we can continue our mission: to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place! None of this would be possible without you– our closest friends, volunteers and donors.
What Your Gift Will Do
A donation to Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council is a rewarding and worthwhile investment in our future leaders and our community.

For $5 a week ($260 per year):
20 girls will attend a
three-part Nature Center workshop at the Camp Agnes Arnold Nature
Center. Girls will learn about different varieties of trees, the
importance of Texas native flowers and even about the huge bat
colony in Houston.

For $10 a week ($520 per year):
17 Girl Scouts Daisies
will attend a robotics retreat where they learn about robots and
design their own. They will learn how to work in teams (like
engineers do) and design a robot to solve an everyday problem. They
will build a prototype and test it and share this with other
participants for ideas on how to make it even better.

For $20 a week ($1,040 per year): Nine girls in socioeconomically
challenged communities will experience Girl Scouts through a
school-based, staff-led, educational community outreach
program.

For $50 a week ($2,600 per year):
10 local, at-risk girls
will receive the Girl Scouting experience for a full year. It costs
$260 per girl to make Girl Scouting a reality in the
community.
