Council and National Awards
Do you know an outstanding volunteer, family, or community partner who deserves recognition for their steadfast support of the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council? You know, the ones who spend countless hours helping girls develop leadership skills or never fail to provide in-kind gifts that help bolster our programming.
Get a jump start on next year’s award season by taking the steps below. Nominations open December 1 and are due March 1. They will be reviewed and awarded in the current year. Orders for adult numeral pins for years of service, years of membership, and Continuing Leader Rockers will be accepted until March 15.
Follow these steps for council recognition:
- Obtain a Volunteer Service Record form (F-122) for each of your volunteers.
- Get three letters of endorsement. Only one may come from a council staff member.
- Complete the appropriate nomination form online.

Don't miss the 2025 Volunteer Recognition Event in April
Save the date for our Adult Recognition Event at Camp Agnes Arnold!
Adult Recognition Event and the GSSJC Annual Meeting will be held Saturday, April 12 at Camp Agnes Arnold in Conroe. Registration will open in January.
The Adult Recognition Event is open to Girl Scout Juniors and above and adult members. The council's Annual Meeting follows the recognition event and is open to staff and council members.
