Council and National Awards
Now accepting Volunteer Recognition nominations
Do you know an outstanding volunteer, family, or community partner who deserves recognition for their steadfast support of the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council? You know, the ones who spend countless hours helping girls develop leadership skills or never fail to provide in-kind gifts that help bolster our programming.
Nomination forms are open for recognition in Spring 2026! Nominations submitted by March 1, 2026, will be reviewed for the current award year.
Follow these steps for council and national recognition:
- Obtain a Volunteer Service Record form (F-122) for each of your volunteers.
- Get three letters of endorsement from adult members in good standing. Only one letter per nomination may come from a council staff member.
- Complete the appropriate nomination form below no later than March 1.
- Read the Adult Recognition Guide for more information about the awards.
- Orders for adult numeral pins for years of service, years of membership, and Continuing Leader Rockers will be accepted until March 15.
Adult Recognition Ceremony: New format, same fabulous celebration
Registration is open for our Adult Recognition Ceremony on April 18. This year, we’ve refreshed the event to welcome even more volunteers. Enjoy a light continental breakfast — pastries, fruit, meats and cheeses, and cookies — all at a reduced price.
The continental breakfast will start at 9:30 a.m., followed by the ceremony at 10 a.m. Registration is required to attend. Information on hosting a table is in the registration description.
Calling all Green Angels
Our committee is seeking Green Angels to help serve breakfast and assist with the ceremony. This will be a Saturday-only service opportunity for Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors. Girls are to arrive at 7 a.m. for setup and practice.
