Financial Assistance
Nothing should stand in the way of a girl reaching her full leadership potential through Girl Scouting. That’s why our council’s financial aid program is dedicated to removing financial barriers, ensuring that every girl has access to our leadership development opportunities.
Girls and volunteers can apply for financial aid to help cover the cost of membership, uniforms, and program registration fees. In fact, nearly half of our members participate in Girl Scouting with the support of some form of financial assistance.
In addition, through camperships, girls can attend summer sleep-away camp at reduced rates or even free of charge, thanks to the generosity of donors. Your support can open the door to transformative outdoor experiences for girls who might not otherwise have the opportunity.

Because leadership should be limitless—and access should be, too.
United Way offers families a path to stability
Many families in Greater Houston need opportunities to thrive — and United Way’s Integrated Client Journey (ICJ) is here to help. ICJ empowers individuals to build a personalized path forward based on their unique goals and needs.
Through ICJ, families can access vital resources like financial stability programs, health care, early childhood education, and youth development. Safety net services also ensure basic needs are met — providing food, shelter, clothing, refugee support, and protection from domestic abuse and human trafficking.
Together, we’re opening doors to a brighter future.
