Don't have a child? That's OK. All you need is a passion for mentoring the next generation of leaders. Imagine yourself visiting NASA with a group of girls to learn about being an astronaut, wandering through an art museum, learning about other cultures, or going on a nature hike. As a guide and role model for girls, Girl Scout volunteers help girls develop to their fullest potential.

Volunteer Roles
Our council has countless for ways for you to get involved. You can be a positive presence in a girl's life by simply being yourself. When you listen intently, encourage her to chase her dreams, make her laugh, and help her build confidence, you become the one she can count on. Let's work together to create a community where every girl is valued and celebrated!
All volunteers must meet the following criteria:
- Have no council debt.
- Register as a member of Girl Scouts.
- Agree to a criminal background check. You will receive a request via email.
- Complete GSUSA Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Training and any other role specific training courses.
