Ways to Volunteer
Girl Scouting is so much more than cookies and camping. Girl Scouts of all ages learn about a wide variety of topics by working on badges, going on field trips or doing service projects in their community.
Girl Scout volunteers share in the fun and excitement as girls experience new challenges. Imagine yourself visiting NASA with a group of girls to learn about being an astronaut, wandering through an art museum, learning about other cultures or going on a nature hike. As a guide and role model for girls, Girl Scout volunteers help girls develop to their fullest potential.
Whether you can give a few hours, a few weeks or a few months, volunteering with Girl Scouts is flexible and fun. Ready to volunteer? Contact us for more information!
Friends and Family
Parents, guardians, caregivers, friends and family who take an active role in supporting the volunteer leadership of the troop. These individuals may support specific activities in the troop, act as drivers on troop outings, fill in for troop leadership occasionally, and act as the responsible adult at troop cookie booth sites.
Product Sales Volunteers
Get involved with the cookie and fall product programs! Coordinate these annual programs at the troop level to help girls earn funds for activities. Set up cookie booths, manage inventory and money, and then watch the girls light up when they earn the rewards for being the best cookie and fall product sellers ever!
Mentor adult volunteers as they work with Girl Scouts to create memories they will never forget.
