What do Girl Scouts do as a member of San Jacinto Council? A little bit of everything! Whether it’s with their Girl Scout troop, a special interest group or on their own, girls of every level have the opportunity to participate in programs where they’ll explore an interest, learn new skills and maybe spark an interest in a new hobby – or even a career path!
In this list, you will find an overview of every program GSSJC has
to offer. Want to learn how to sail on Galveston Bay? Interested in
helping build a rain garden? Excited to compete on a Robotics FIRST
Lego League team? As a Girl Scout in San Jacinto Council, you can do
all of these things and more.

Girl Scouts in San Jacinto Council have the opportunity to earn a number of certifications and skills tests as a Girl Scout. Whether they want to become certified as a swimmer, boater, babysitter or more…they can do it just by being a Girl Scout! In addition to the traditional outdoor activities and camping, GSSJC also offers a number of general program activities to girls throughout the year. Ready to explore the great outdoors? Camping is synonymous with Girl Scouts, and girls can make a weekend at camp even more exciting by signing up to participate in sessions for our outdoor activities, offered at various times throughout the year or by joining a special interest group that focuses on her favorite.
