If you love to dance, then the Green Starlettes is for you! Registration for joining the Green Starlettes Dance Team for the 2023-2024 membership year is now open. Girls going into grades 4-12 for the 2023-2024 school year are welcome to register. There are no try-outs to join the team; any girl may be a part of the group. The purpose of the Green Starlettes is for girls to build confidence through a fun and exciting dance experience. GSSJC gives girls this opportunity to participate in a non-competitive, team atmosphere. Teams meet once a week to practice routines and prepare for upcoming parades, shows, and appearances.
Adult Volunteers wishing to participate with the group as Directors, Committee Members, or Friends and Family Volunteers are also required to register.
Participants are required to be Girl Scouts members (registering here does not include a membership - register to be a Girl Scout .)
Note: Girl registration includes a Green Starlettes patch, a rocker (for returning members), and t-shirt. Just like any other dance team, the Green Starlettes have set uniform pieces and extras. These pieces are not included in the $40 fee to join Green Starlettes. There will be an extra fee for: uniform leotard, uniform pants, poms, officer poms as applicable, rain jacket, drill bag, dance shoes, and costume for Spring Show. Adult Volunteer t-shirt payments will be collected at a later date.
When/Where: Divisions meet once a week at
differing times and locations. See division options below. Specific
meeting schedules and locations will be shared after registration is
completed.

- Northwest (Cypress Fairbanks N. Houston, 290 West)
- Pineywoods/Nacogdoches (Lufkin, Livingston, Diboll, Huntington, Nacogdoches, Garrison & Applebee)
- South (League City, Galveston, Santa Fe, Texas City)
- Southeast (Deer Park, LaPorte, Clear Lake, Pasadena)
- Southwest (Sharpstown, Alief, Missouri City, Sugar Land)
- West (W. Houston, Katy)
- Don't Know/Not Sure
Please note: Divisions need a minimum number of girls to be active. If the registration minimum is not met, the division may be merged with the nearest Division. Should this affect your division, you will be notified before the season starts.
