Do you have a passion for Girl Scouting and want to share your experience and knowledge with other volunteers? Facilitator Essentials is a workshop that will help you develop your skills so that you can do just that. This course will be held in person!
Topics covered are the adult learning cycle and principles; managing group and individual behaviors; effective tips and techniques for both classroom and virtual learning; and the art of asking questions and facilitating discussions. This is a great opportunity for those who want to lead New Leader Cafés, Community Cafés, and Green Apples in their Communities, to gain some strategies and tips. Volunteers who want to facilitate training for Region or Council-wide course offerings are required to take this course.
