Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors! GSSJC is launching a brand-new weekend camp! In this arts and wellness camp, unplug and step away from your busy day-to-day life by retreating into nature and immersing yourself in artistic experiences to nourish and reinvigorate your creative spark!

This artist's retreat at Misty Meadows Ranch offers an opportunity for Older Girls to achieve higher creativity through self-exploration, inspiration, growth, mindfulness, and gratitude. This event could include activities like outdoor yoga, name drumming, animal therapy, junk journaling, recycled art sculpture garden, lyric collages, scream boxes, silent hikes, graffiti tags, a photography scavenger hunt, food art challenge, meditative beading, an ongoing group mural, an open mic session and more! We all have artists within us; come uncover yours!

Please note: This event requires active adult participation to be a success. All adults registering will be expected to sign up for at least one volunteer shift. Information about available shifts will be sent in advance. The event fee includes meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday, event patch, and a swag bag. Please eat dinner before you arrive on Friday night!

Drop-off and Supervision: This is a drop-off event, adults do not need to register. (Girl Scout ratio will be met by facilitators).

Adult Requirements: This event requires active adult participation to be a success. All adults registering will be expected to sign up for at least one volunteer shift. Information about available shifts will be sent in advance. All adults must have a current membership, background check, and Youth Protection Training 1 and 2 or CANPT. Troops are required to bring a Camping and Overnight Basics (COB) or legacy camp trained adult. A mandatory adult meeting will be held on Friday night to go over assignments for the weekend.

Tagalongs: No tagalongs are allowed at this event.

Bring: GIRLS - F-204 Girl Permission Slip, F-185 Girl Medical Form, ADULTS - F-22 Adult Emergency Slip, Girls and Adults - F-1157 Assumption of Risk
