Membership for the 25/26 membership year is
required. Girl Scouts must be a Brownie or Junior in Fall
2025.
This sign-up represents
participation in the Intro to Robotics Club from October 25 to May
26. Because this group will begin activities in October, you
may not receive communication until mid-late
September.
Work with other girls
your age to learn and expand your knowledge of how robots are built
and how they work. This is a year-round, non-competitive opportunity
where girls get the chance to build robots, discover how to code
them, and potentially prepare to join a Robotics Competition Team of
their own! Girls will work with differing equipment based on their
experience; girls can explore Spike Lego Kits and investigate simple
programming.
Beginning girls can work with
motorized Lego models with exploration of Spike software and
possible expansion into competition materials.
If you are interested in being the Intro to Robotics Mentor
for Oct 24-May 25, please reach out to Rachel Archer,
713-292-0233, rarcher@sjgs.org for more
information.

not join a team at the beginning of the season may need to wait
until the following year to do so.
