Are you curious about sailing? Do you want to feel the wind on your face and hear the water splashing around you? You will work alongside our Mariners Special Interest Group as they ready the boats to take you on a sailing adventure on the open seas! Sign up to be a sailor for the weekend. You must attend the entire weekend. Introduction to Sailing is a general sailing activity and is not a prerequisite to the Mariner program. Must be 11 at the time of the event. The GSSJC Proficient Swimmer card is required to be obtained prior to the class. Participants will be re-tested at the time of the activity
 
Note: Girl Scout must be 11 years of age at the time of the event. Must be A GSSJC Proficient/Advanced Swimmer. Cards must be presented at the time of check-in. Participants will be re-tested at the time of the activity.

Drop-off and Supervision: This is a drop-off event, adults do not stay (Girl Scout ratio will be met by facilitators.)
 
Adult Requirements: This is an event at camp; a camp-trained adult is provided by the facilitators.
 
Tagalongs: No tagalongs are allowed at this event.
