Do you love Girl Scouts, seeing cool stuff and
learning about Space? Join us at Misty Meadows Ranch where Older
Girl Scouts will spend Friday night exploring the stars with our
telescopes and cooking s'mores at campfire. Then sleep in
Saturday morning before doing fun Astronomy activities and later
earn service hours helping lead younger girls on their own space
exploration Saturday evening! Included with this event is
Astronomy with GSSJC Fun Patch, and all Saturday
meals/snacks.
Girl Scouts must be in at least 6th grade in
Fall 2025 to be eligible to attend this event.
Note: Members of the Astronomy SIG do not have
to sign up for this event and will attend as part of their SIG
duties.

Drop-off and Supervision: This is a drop-off
event; Girl Scout ratio of adults will be met by registered
adults. Girls are not required to bring a troop leader or
chaperone. If they'd you'd like to join in on the fun, please
register as a volunteer!
Adult Requirements: This event requires active
adult participation to be a success. All adults registering will
be expected to chaperone girls outside of their troop and assist
with adult kapers such as a dorm chaperone, room chaperone, meal
server or dishwasher. All adults must have a current membership,
background check, and Youth Protection Training.
Tagalongs: No tagalongs are allowed at this
event.
