Come join us for art in the garden! Ikebana, also known
as kadō, is the traditional Japanese art of floral design. Ikebana
uses lines, color, mass, form, movement, space, shape, balance,
and a rich tradition of Japanese culture, religion, and symbolism
to capture the perfect imperfection of nature and human emotion in
floral design. Girls will learn the terminology and techniques
used to create artful flower arrangements known as Ikebana and
make their own arrangement to take home.
