Registration opens Monday, October 6th at
Noon. Forensics Weekend sells out quickly, so we recommend
checking to see if you have any MyGS issues the day before.
Customer Service may not be able to help you in time day of.
Do you like to solve mysteries
or look for clues? Can you compile evidence and identify a
suspect? Join other Cadettes for our annual Forensics Weekend
event at Camp Casa Mare to put your Special Agent skills to the
test.
Program materials, event patch,
and the earned badge are provided. Saturday breakfast, lunch,
and dinner plus Sunday breakfast are provided. Attendees will
receive their lodging assignments at check-in. Casa Mare
accommodations are all dorms with AC and heat. Multiple troops
will be sharing each dorm. Any accommodations needed such as
dietary restrictions or housing needs should be emailed to
Customer Service by December 1.
Cadettes will rotate through sessions chosen by our Girl
Planning Board to meet the requirements of the Special Agent
badge and provide a fun weekend. Adult support is needed to make
this event a success. Adults registering for this event will act
as dorm or room chaperones and assist with kitchen duties such
as a server or dishwasher.
Note: No at-the-door registrations or
registration changes are accepted. Please be diligent in
ensuring the correct girls are registered so materials can be
prepared appropriately. Any registrant swaps should be completed
at least 3 weeks in advance, so they can be facilitated before
the cancellation deadline. A menu for the weekend will be
available appropriately three weeks before the event and posted
in this event registration.

Drop-off and Supervision: This is a drop-off
event; Girl Scout ratio of adults will be met by registered
adults. Girls are not required to bring a troop leader or
chaperone.
Adult Requirements: This event requires active
adult participation to be a success. All adults registering will
be expected to chaperone girls outside of their troop and assist
with adult kapers such as a dorm chaperone, room chaperone, meal
server or dishwasher. All adults must have a current membership,
background check, and Youth Protection Training 1 and 2. A
mandatory adult meeting will be held on Friday night at 9:30PM
to go over assignments for the weekend.
Tagalongs: No tagalongs are allowed at this
event.
