Ride the wave of learning in this STEM and history adventure while exploring science, history, creativity, and ocean stewardship! Girls will explore Texas surf culture, learn the science behind surfboards, discover ocean safety skills, and create their own surfboard design. Every participant will leave with new knowledge, unforgettable memories, and a special patch.
Who: Brownies, Juniors, and Adult Volunteers
Where: Texas Surf Museum, Galveston
Cost: $31 per girl; Free for adult chaperones
Hosted By: Texas Surf Museum
Drop-off and Supervision: This is NOT a drop-off event; Girl Scout ratio of adults are required to attend and must register.
Tagalongs: No tagalongs are allowed at this event.
Bring: GIRLS - F-204 Girl Permission Slip, F-185 Girl Medical Form, ADULTS - F-22 Adult Emergency Slip, Girls and Adults - F-1157 Assumption of Risk
