Are you currently a Mariner looking to gain more
sailing hours? You will work alongside potential new sailors to
gain more sailing hours and volunteer hours as well. You must stay
the entire weekend. Give your fellow sisters in Girl Scouts a
sailing experience they will never forget and hopefully pique
their interest to become a Mariner!
Note: Must already be a registered Mariner to attend and have
successfully completed and passed Basic Sailing and a registered
Mariner SIG member. Please reach out to our mariner coordinator at
mariner.coordinators@gmail.com for additional information.
Hosted By: GSSJC Council
Drop-off and Supervision: This is a drop-off
event-adults do not stay. However, to meet Girl Scout safety
ratios and ensure a safe experience for all participants, we do
rely on volunteers. Please consider signing up to help!
Adult Requirements: This is a camp event, and a
camp-trained adult will be provided by the facilitators. However,
to meet Girl Scout safety requirements, we also depend on
additional volunteers.
All adults must have a current
membership and background check and have completed GSUSA Child
Abuse Prevention Training. Your help is essential-please consider
signing up!
Tagalongs: No tagalongs are allowed at this
event.
By registering for this
