Green Starlettes Dance Team 2026-2027 Registration

This sign-up represents participation in the Green Starlettes Dance Team from Sept 2026 - June 2027 (this group does not meet over the summer). Because this group will resume activities in Sept/Oct, you may not receive communication until late August or early Sept.

If you love to dance, then the Green Starlettes is for you! There are no try-outs to join the team; any girl (Juniors and up) may be a part of this Special Interest Group. The purpose of the Green Starlettes is for girls to build confidence through a fun and exciting Girl Scout dance team experience, in a non-competitive atmosphere. Each division meets once a week, in their area, to practice routines and prepare for upcoming parades, shows, and appearances.

Adults in GSDT Leadership Roles and Adults wishing to participate with the group as episodic Friends and Family Volunteers are also required to register.

All participants are required to be Girl Scout members (registering here does not include a membership - register to be a Girl Scout.)

Note: Registration includes a Green Starlettes patch and t-shirt. Just like any other dance team, the Green Starlettes have set uniform pieces and extras. These pieces are not included with registration. There will be extra fees for: uniform leotard, uniform pants, poms, rain jacket, drill bag, dance shoes, and costume for Spring Show, as well as camp and event fees throughout the year. Financial Aid is available through council and the SIG.

When/Where: Divisions meet once a week at differing times and locations. See division options below. Specific meeting schedules and locations will be shared after registering.

Midtown-SW: Thursdays, Bellaire (77401)

South: Tuesdays, Alvin (77511)
Southeast: Tuesdays, Channelview (77530)
West: Tuesdays, Katy (77450)

*Divisions need a minimum number of girls to be active. If the registration minimum is not met, the division may be placed on hiatus or merged with the nearest division. Should this affect your chosen division, you will be notified before the season starts.

Note: Please be aware of the time commitment required of members of the team - The Green Starlettes keep a very full calendar of practices, performances, camps, and events and 90% participation is expected. Please consider your family's ability to meet this before registering!
