Honoring Our Heritage: Celebrations of Remembrance Across Hispanic Cultures
Join GSSJC for a vibrant celebration of Hispanic heritage! Daisies through Cadettes will explore how communities across Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America honor loved ones, celebrate family traditions, and preserve cultural heritage. Through interactive activities featuring art, music, storytelling, and traditions such as Día de los Muertos, girls will discover the rich diversity of Hispanic cultures while learning about remembrance, family, and community. Attendees will receive an event fun patch and a Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration "¡Yo Soy una Girl Scout!" Fun Patch. Older Girls can volunteer and earn council volunteer hours.
