Meet us at the rifle range with our two-part Rifle Program, designed for beginners and those looking to sharpen their skills. Start with the fundamentals, Intro to Rifle, and then advance to Marksmanship. Marksmanship builds directly on what you learned earlier in the day and offers more time on the range for practice and feedback.

Intro to Rifle

Trained instructors will guide you as you first learn basic firearm safety and the proper way to handle a rifle. You will receive your own pair of safety glasses and learn to
shoot at the bench rest position. Must be 12 years old to participate
This is a 90-minute introduction to rifle programs. It is the first step toward joining the Girls, Rifles, Instruction and Training (GRIT) special interest group.

Marksmanship

Rifle Marksmanship sessions you will learn from experienced instructors more shooting positions and how to improve your shooting skills in each. Girls who wish to attend this marksmanship session must first attend an Introduction to Rifle Program session. Must be 12 years old to participate.

This is a 60-minute marksmanship practice session. It is the second step toward joining the Girls, Rifles, Instruction and Training (GRIT) special interest group. If you're not yet ready to commit to joining the special interest group, attend as many Rifle Marksmanship sessions as you like!
