Rustlers is the second level of the STARS program, which
continues the skills started in Saddlehorns. This session is open to
girls in 6th through 12th grade who have completed Saddlehorns.
Girls will learn how to saddle a horse, how to clean and maintain
tack and the basics of horse anatomy. Riding skills and horse safety
will be reviewed and performed at a walk and potentially a trot.
Girls will rotate through four sessions, including one riding
session in the arena.
Check in will be
between 8:30 and 9am. Event is anticipated to last until 5pm. This
will be hosted at Misty Meadows Ranch.
Individual girls with a parent/guardian chaperone or troops
with the required number of safety ratio are required to attend with
their girls. Food is not provided.

Adult Requirements: This is NOT a drop-off event;
Girl Scout ratio of adults are required to attend and must register.
All girls must have a registered adult/troop leader accompany them.
All adults must have a current membership, background check, and Child
Abuse Neglect and Protection Training.
Prerequisite: Must have completed Saddlehorns
Tagalongs: No tagalongs are allowed at this event.
