Stable Sense Junior Riding Badge Workshop

This is an all morning session geared for Juniors! You will learn horse safety, parts of the saddle & bridle, how to groom & tack, ride in the arena and go on a trail ride*! This workshop teaches you the beginner basics of Horse 101. You will also get a badge for participating. Girls must have their hair pulled back in low ponytails at the base of their neck or in braids for helmet safety.
 
*Trail rides are not guaranteed and are dependent on weather/having the required number of volunteers present.
 
 
Drop-off and Supervision: This is a drop-off event; Girl Scout ratio of adults are NOT required to attend.
 
Tagalongs: No tagalongs are allowed at this event. 
 
Bring: Girl Permission Slip (F-204 or F-204M), Medical Form (F-185), and Waiver (F-1157) or Adult Emergency Slip (F-22) and Waiver (F-1157), MMR Farm Waiver.
