SIG members unite for a paddling adventure! This day
trip, for Cadettes and up, will develop Level II moving water
skills in a Kayak. Girls will learn level II moving water
techniques.
- Cadettes and up who are members of the Small Watercraft SIG can join this day trip to paddle the San Marcos River. Participants MUST have prior attendance with a Small Watercraft SIG weekend that develops kayak skills including rescue skills. Please contact smallwatercraftsig@gmail.com for confirmation prior to registration.

Successful passed Swim Proficiency Test
- All participants will need to have their own transportation to this event.
- Girls will need to pack their own lunch in a waterproof bag.
Arrival is 9 am and paddle is expected to end at
5pm. River conditions are subject to change due to local weather
conditions, potentially impacting start/end times for this event.
Communication will be required.
Note: Must be a Cadette or higher.
Drop-off and Supervision: This is a drop-off event (Girl
Scout ratio will be met by facilitators.)
