SIG members unite for a paddling adventure! This day
trip, for Cadettes and up, will develop Level II moving water
skills in a Kayak. Girls will learn level II moving water
techniques.

Cadettes and up who are members
of the Small Watercraft SIG can join this day trip to paddle
the San Marcos River. Participants MUST have prior attendance
with a Small Watercraft SIG weekend that develops kayak skills
including rescue skills. Please contact

Successful passed Swim Proficiency Test

All participants will need to have their own
transportation to this event.

Girls
will need to pack their own lunch in a waterproof bag.
Arrival is 9 am and paddle is expected to end at
5pm. River conditions are subject to change due to local weather
conditions, potentially impacting start/end times for this event.
Communication will be required.
Note: Must be a Cadette or higher.
Drop-off and Supervision: This is a drop-off event (Girl
Scout ratio will be met by facilitators.)
