BY SIGNING UP FOR OUR MESSAGING PROGRAM, YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY AND BE BOUND TO THESE TERMS and you expressly consent to receive marketing or non-marketing text messages, as applicable, from Girl Scouts of San Jacinto (“Girl Scouts,” “GSSJC,”), and others texting on behalf of Girl Scouts, including text messages made with an automatic telephone dialing system (“autodialer”), at the telephone number(s) that you provide.

This program is intended for staff members of GSSJC only and is used to communicate office closures, weather events or other situations that affect the normal operations of GSSJC. This program is closed to staff members of GSSJC only. Staff members may contact the IT helpdesk for signup information.
Message and data rates may apply to each text message sent or received in connection with Girl Scout text messages, as provided in your mobile telephone service rate plan (please contact your mobile telephone carrier for pricing plans), in addition to any applicable roaming charges. Girl Scouts does not impose a separate fee for sending Girl Scout text messages; however, you are responsible for any fees imposed by your mobile carrier of any kind whatsoever.

You represent that you are the account holder for the mobile telephone number(s) that you enroll. You are responsible for notifying Girl Scouts immediately if you change your mobile telephone number. You may notify Girl Scouts of a number change by contacting Customer Care at 1-713-292-0300.
You agree to indemnify Girl Scouts in full for all claims, expenses, and damages related to or caused in whole or in part by your failure to notify Girl Scouts if you change your telephone number including, but not limited to, all claims, expenses, and damages related to or arising under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
It is your responsibility to determine if your mobile carrier supports text messaging and if your mobile device is capable of receiving text messages. Your receipt of Girl Scout text messages is subject to the terms and conditions of your agreement(s) with your mobile carrier.
Delivery of information and content to a mobile device may fail due to a variety of circumstances or conditions. You understand and acknowledge that network services, including but not limited to mobile network services, are outside of Girl Scouts’ control, and Girl Scouts is not responsible or liable for issues arising from such network services (e.g., delayed or undelivered messages or the security of any messages).
We may modify these Terms from time to time with or without notice to you. Unless we indicate otherwise, modifications will be effective as of the date they are posted on this page or any successor page and supersede any prior Terms. You should look at the Terms regularly. Your continued opt-in to receive messages from Girl Scouts following any changes to these Terms will constitute your acceptance of such changes. If you wish to opt out receiving communications from Girl Scouts under the updated Terms, you may text STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to the Girl Scouts program number.
