Ready to help your community and earn one of the highest awards in Girl Scouting? Cadettes can team up with a small group of fellow Girl Scouts or work on their own. To earn the Silver Award, you will research an issue you care about, make a plan to address it, and then take action to improve your community.
Note: The Silver Award Project Proposal and Final Report forms come in two versions: a PDF (optional) and an online form through the JotForm platform (required form of submission). Submitting the PDF version does not constitute a completed submission.
The Silver Award Committee strongly recommends that girls use the PDF version to write out their answers in advance so they can copy and paste directly into the online form.

Girl Scouts must submit their Silver Award Project Proposal no later than July 1 of the year they graduate eighth grade (i.e. the summer before ninth grade). They must complete their Silver Award projects and submit their Final Report no later than Sept. 30 of that same year (i.e. the fall of their ninth grade year). Forms must be submitted via the Silver Award Project Proposal and Final Report forms on JotForm.
