To earn the Silver Award, you will research an issue you care about, make a plan to address it, and then take action to improve your community.

Girl Scouts must submit their Silver Award Project Proposal no later than July 1 of the year they graduate eighth grade (i.e. the summer before ninth grade). They must complete their Silver Award projects and submit their Final Report no later than Sept. 30 of that same year (i.e. the fall of their ninth grade year). Forms must be submitted via the Silver Award Project Proposal and Final Report forms on JotForm.
We have new prerequisite opportunities! Journeys will be retired on October 1, 2026. In their place, Girl Scouts is launching new Leadership Awards for Juniors through Ambassadors. Learn more.
**If you have currently completed or are in the process of a Journey, that Journey will be accepted as a prerequisite for a Highest Award until September 30, 2026.**
