Join with other Texas Girl Scouts to expand your mind and entice
your tastebuds! Once you take in the breathtaking Parisian sights,
journey east toward the German border to Strasbourg-a city known for
perfectly blending both French and German influences. Before immersing
yourself in ancient Roman ruins in Lyon, France's second-largest city
and gastronomic capital, you'll tour an independent, family-run
mustard mill in Dijon. Then, take your tour to new heights as you
explore the picturesque medieval town of Annecy, located in the
foothills of the French Alps. Next, travel to Avignon, cruise through
the breathtaking Calanques, and explore the markets in the French
Riviera before heading home. This trip will depart from the Houston
Intercontinental Airport, and includes airfare, transportation in
France, meals and accommodations in France, admission to all
activities, and a dedicated tour guide for our group. Registration is
open to girls who will be entering the 7th grade and up in 2026.
Participants on this trip will have regular Zoom meetings starting in
the fall of 2024. GSSJC Girl Scouts on this trip may also participate
in the fall product sale, cookie sale, and other money earning
activities to help fund the trip. If you are from another council,
please check with your local council about fund raising options.

Cost: $250 Council Fee ($50 deposit; payment plans available) in
addition to the EF Tour Fee

Drop-off and Supervision: GSSJC will provide chaperones for this trip.
Adult Requirements: Adults must have a current membership and
background check, and Youth Protection Training Part 1 & 2. Adults
from other councils may substitute their council equivalents.
Tagalongs: Tagalongs are not permitted at this event.
