Because everyone deserves a troop, and every girl deserves a champion.
Join Troop 713 today!
Troop 713 is a community of women who believe in the power and promise of girls. Whether you were a Girl Scout, wished you had been, or simply want to support the next generation of female leaders, Troop 713 offers friendship, networking, sisterhood, and fun with a purpose.
Members build meaningful connections and have crucial conversations around ensuring girls have opportunities to discover their strengths, find their voice, and make lasting change in the world.
Troop 713 welcomes all women over the age of 18 who reside within our council footprint, which includes the following counties: Angelina, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Hardin, Harris, Houston, Jasper, Jefferson, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Nacogdoches, Newton, Orange, Polk, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, Shelby, Trinity, Tyler, Walker, Waller, and Wharton.
You do not have to have been a Girl Scout to participate in Troop 713. All members should have an interest in building connections with other women and identifying ways to support girl development in Southeast Texas.
Simply fill out this interest form, and we’ll add you to our e-communications to ensure you receive invitations to upcoming Troop 713 activities as well as council news tailored for Girl Scout alumnae and friends in Troop 713.
There are no membership dues for Troop 713, but members will need to cover programming costs associated with some events they choose to attend. These costs will vary, but Girl Scout staff will work to keep it as affordable as possible.
Members will be asked to make an annual donation to support Girl Scouts. No minimum is set for those gifts, and membership in Troop 713 will not be revoked if you are unable to do so.
Member input will help shape activities, which could include camping, Adventure Park outings, community service events, social gatherings, and more!
Members will also enjoy exclusive Troop 713 swag throughout the year, depending on which activities they participate in. You never know what you might take home to commemorate a Girl Scout experience!
Please email Katie Gordon, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
